This, that and the other thing
Yeah, I know, not much in the way of blogging as of late. I've been busy, as you can guess.
- Fantasy Football Playoff Weekend. NFL.com public league, I'm #2 vs. #3; in my recurring league, I'm #7 vs. #2; in my other "private" Yahoo league (The HalForums gang), I'm #2 vs. #3 - against the gal who is the wife of the website founder/league commissioner.
- The Predators game last night was the ugliest win, arguably, in franchise history. That they pulled it out with a David Legwand shootout goal is amazing. What was more amazing was that the Predators did not get a single power play during the entire 65 minutes of play - though the refs penalized the Blues at the 5:00 mark of overtime. In a situation like that, the penalized team should lose their first shooting attempt if it extends into the shootout.
- The Packers have not lost in 364 days, while my alma mater has not lost in over three years. I wish I could say the same thing.
